My Great Grandfather James Ernest TENCHwas born in Shrewsbury back in 1867. His parents were John TENCH (1840-1891) and Ellen COPE (1838-1903).

John (1865-1950) m. Selina ADAMS (1867-1950)
George (1869-1940) m. Emily NICHOLLS (1868-1906)
Clara (1871-1958) m. Michael FIEST (1868-1945)
Annie (1874-1938) m. Thomas PUGH (1859-1931)
Richard (1876-1960) m. Sarah BODILY (1882-1961)
Jane (1878-1881)
Esther (1881-unknown)
I am after any references to the family that you might have to help me with my research as my Great Grandfather was the only one to immigrate to Australia and we do not know much about the family.

Erica,
Do you subscribe to the Ancestry website? if so you will find several family trees on that website that contain your great.grandfather, and his parents. I've not checked any of the info, which is recommended. I see that one of them states that John Tench drowned in the River Severn.
