Would anyone happen to know of any groups conducting research on Shropshire veterans of the Great War?

My maternal grandmother’s family were from Ironbridge & Brosley.  Recently, I discovered several photographs taken of men serving in the British Army between 1914 & 1918.  Unfortunately, there is little to no identifying information on the pictures.  I would be glad to share copies of these photos with an oraganisation with a view to connecting them to the descendants of these men.

Thank you for whatever consideration you may give this letter.

The WWI page on St Chad's Church may give you a contact. http://stchadschurchshrewsbury.com/ww1/

There was a group researching those commemorated on Ironbridge War Memorial - see http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/ENG-SHROPSHIRE-PLUS/2007-0...

Unfortunately the site www.igca.co.uk no longer appears to be active, but if you go to Facebook, search Rosemary Clegg and scroll down to Public Posts you will find she has posted lots of information, including photographs.
