Can anyone offer some insight into the history of the county of RADNORSHIRE, please? Did the boundaries flex a lot? When it was no longer a county under which county jurisdiction would records be kept?
Chasing my tail on researching my ROLLINGS/SUMMERS line who appear to have jumped around from Bitterley/Caynham to Stoke St Milborough to Presteign between c1840-1880. It would seem that they spent their later years in Presteign but what was there for them to move to?? Anyone know anything about Presteign -- was it a farming area?Looks like there were several ROLLINGS in this area but other than a gut feeling I have no leads to go on. Ugh... . Thanks in advance...
