Percy Titley was the son of William James Titley and Martha (nee Clee) of 48 North Street, Castlefields, Shrewsbury.

He served in the Welsh Guards during the First World War until being medically discharged in early 1918. He died in May 1918 of TB contracted during his service.

He is buried in Shrewsbury Cemetery and his grave is currently being renovated by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and will be re-dedicated in a ceremony in a few weeks time.

Does anyone know of any descendants of the Titley family?

Thank you

Basil Owen

Hello

Please don't list names and addresses of living people here. If you can help just say so and then perhaps Basil will posts his email address so you can contact him direct.

The BT online Phone Book (Search box lower right) lists ten people with the TITLEY surname living within 5 miles of Shrewsbury so this should give you a start.
