Can anyone help is there or where are they any information other than the monumental inscriptions for Lords Hill Chapel

I have a large amount of my grandads side of the family who would have been baptised, buried there etc

I have only found one grave so far using the monumental inscriptions.  This was for Jonathan Harrison and his wife Emma he was a Manager for the Snailbeach mines in the 1800's and lived at Lower Works, Snailbeach.

He then moved to Pontesford where I understand there was a form of residential home for miners etc.

This is where he and Emma both passed away.

I am looking for their children and grandchildren who where my 2 grt grandparents and 3rd grt grandparents

Thanks

Fiona

In the Shropshire Archives there is a document that is a birth register for the Lord's Hill Baptist Church at Snailbeach. It is in a rather poor state of repair with some entries quite hard to read but some of the births recorded, (for 1830s and 1860s particularly), are still legible. I hope this might help you.
