I am Keith Evans living in Rugby.
John EVANS is my 2x G grandfather.
I have been unable to find their marriage.
Have their names from their sons Birth Cert.
1911 census puts the marriage in 1851.
John born 1823 parents Edward Evans & Deborah DOWNES.
Deborah Downes born 1795 parents Clement Downes & Sarah BLUCK.
Can anyone suggest where else I can look?
Hi Phil Thanks for the reply I have this cert. John Evans Taylor of full age father John Evans Labourer. M John I believe was a farmer and his father was EDWARD! Sarah of full age father Edward on this cert I believe her father was Richard! Regards Keith

Hi Keith, All the Census records for this couple would suggest Stanton Lacy as place of their marriage. But findmypast website has a marriage record for John Evans and Sarah Griffiths for Jul-Sep 1851 District Kidderminster Vol. 18 Page 429. Using this info you can also find it on FreeBMD webiste. But only way to confirm this is the correct record is by ordering the marriage certificate. Regards Phil
