Can any one throw any light on Elizabeth THROMBLIN's Family?  I have purchased the marriage certificate of Elizabeth and john EVANS (a coal miner) who married in registry office in Atcham in 1850, there is no father named for Elizabeth.

Can't find anything about her.  I think I found them in the 1851 census, says Elizabeth was born in Condover and her mother is living with them but she has the name of LOMBAS, is this an ancestry mistake.  Can't find a birth or baptism for Elizabeth or anything for Anne and nothing in the 1841 census.  Elizabeth was born in 1828. John and Elizabeth lived in Pontesford

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Molly

thanks Gwynne

I had guessed that Elizabeth was illegitimate, but they seem to change the spelling of the surname a bit.

thanks for that information
