Can anyone help me with this elusive ancestor? I have found her married as Elizabeth HURD living in Malvern Link, Worcestershire in 1871 and she then says she was born in Kenley; in 1901 she says she is born in Kenley. I can also find her in 1841, 1851 etc, but trying to find out where she was born. She was born somewhere between 1823 and 1825.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for that, but her parents were William and Mary. I think I have her baptism in Meole Brace but on different censuses she says she was born in Kenley and Farley,
Must be one of those eluse ancestors

Hi MMSB, looking quickly on familysearch.org, there is the baptism of an Elizabeth PARTRIDGE, 2nd March 1822 at Church Preen, Shropshire, parents Thomas & Sarah P. Church Preen is only 1.5 miles from Kenley. This may well be her.
