Basil WARING, b. 1584, and his son Sampson WARING, b. 1616, are listed in the Visitation of Shropshire, 1623., Sampson migrated to Virginia and became my 8G-grandfather. Basil Waring's immediate Shropshire forebears were named HOSIER, PHILLIPS, TRENTHAM, and CORBET. I'm wondering if there are current residents of Shrewsbury and environments who can trace back to these ancestors. I'm "crossing the pond" to visit Shrewsbury in June and would love to say hello, trade genealogies, and share a cup of tea or coffee or even a pint, while there.
