My husband, Tim BALL, is a descendant of John BALL and Elizabeth AMSON (ANSON) who were born in Wellington and Atcham. They were married on 17 January 1854 in "the parish church of Wellington" where Angelo SOLARI was the curate. Does this point me to a specific church in the area?
John, born about 1827, was the son of William BALL. Elizabeth, born about 1827-1828, was the daughter of John AMSON/ANSON/HAMPSON.
Other locations in census and probate records are Acton Scott, Church Stretton, Upton Magna. John was an ag. lab. and Elizabeth seemed to work as a housemaid before her marriage.
