My husband, Tim BALL, is a descendant of John BALL and Elizabeth AMSON (ANSON) who were born in Wellington and Atcham. They were married on 17 January 1854 in "the parish church of Wellington" where Angelo SOLARI was the curate. Does this point me to a specific church in the area?

John, born about 1827, was the son of William BALL. Elizabeth, born about 1827-1828, was the daughter of John AMSON/ANSON/HAMPSON.

Other locations in census and probate records are Acton Scott, Church Stretton, Upton Magna. John was an ag. lab. and Elizabeth seemed to work as a housemaid before her marriage. Their children were Edwin, who became a school teacher, Arthur, (our line) who was a butler at Peatswood Manor before he married and moved to the US in 1880, and Fanny, who seemed to die young..

We will be visiting Shrewsbury in June 2026 from the USA and would like to identify specific locations attached to them.

Is anyone researching these names or are able to direct me to a starting place?

Thank you. I had found this info early in my research and had not documented my source. Thanks for your help.
