Goacher Family
Hi I am new here I have been researching the paternal side of my family tree for over 10 years now and cannot get any further than my 6th great grandfather Edward Goacher, he was born in Shropshire in 1719 and was possibly illegitimate which is why I have hit a wall because there are no records of him under the name Goacher until he appears in Leicester for a marriage to Mary Newberry. Can anyone give me any advise or where I could find any information.

Hi Jessica, what makes you believe that Edward Goacher was born in Shropshire in 1719.
I've found two possible baptism's for him Ed Goch. and Edward Gotier/Goateir
and two possible baptisms of the mother of the one that was a base child.
