DEAVES family from Shrewsbury
I have researched my paternal side of the family have have discovered they were cordwainers ( shoe and boot makers) from Shrewsbury
I have got back to
Thomas Deaves bn 1730
His son:
Thomas Deaves bn 1759-1832
His son
Thomas Deaves bn 1797-1861
His son
Robert Deaves bn 1818-1972 seems to have been the one to leave Shrewsbury and moved to Birmingham where we remain.
I have googled Thomas Deaves and found this old link to my relative , however the link doesn’t work, is someone able to see if they can find the working link?

That link seems to be broken, possibly because of what is explained in the post last month by Steve Jones ? ie :
"Many of you will be disappointed not to be able see the content of the old SFHS Forum. Unfortunately, it was not possible to export the old content and incorporate it into the new site....."
Have you checked the link he gives for the archive of the old forum ?
Failing that, the extract you found does mention St Mary's so you could try and find the church and check their burial records as you have a date.
