Does anyone have any info or family links to either Thomas Pool (born c. 1751 Market Drayton) or to Elizabeth Dorricott (born c. 1748 Priors Lea), or info on any of their children?
Thomas gained settlement and was hired by John Briscoe of Apley Castle c.1770, and married Elizabeth on 22nd June 1770 at All Saints, Wellington.
Elizabeth was probably daughter of John Dallicott (1721-1785) and Jane (nee Tither) (1722-1773).
Thomas & Elizabeth are known to have had the following children : Thomas (c.1771), John (c.1774), Eliz. (c.1776), Richard (c.1779) and William (c.1782).
Elizabeth possibly buried at St. Michaels, Lilleshaw on 2nd January 1820 aged 71 years.

DNA testing has revealed that Thomas is possibly related to my Poole ancestors.
The earliest definite  member of my family being Isaiah Poole baptised Dawley Magna in 1817; mother Sarah Pool, no father's name recorded on transcribed Parish Register but given as John Poole, Boilermaker on Isaiah's marriage certificate.
