Preceding the talk by Mary our AGM will be held, further details will be available in the December journal.
Mary, the recently retired Archives Manager at Shropshire Archives will then join us to talk about her experiences over 30 years working in the archives. As well as reflecting on her own experiences Mary would also be interested to discuss the experiences of users of the Archives in Shropshire or elsewhere.
Currently the situation with Covid-19 and the impact on being able to hold our monthly meetings at the normal location in Cross Houses continues to be uncertain so the SFHS committee is still looking into how future talks will be delivered but it is hoped that there will be the opportunity for combined face to face meetings and Zoom as soon as possible. Further details of how the meetings will be organised will be made available as soon as they are confirmed.
