Shropshire 1851 CENSUS Index on CD-ROM (as of 30 Jan 2006)
The index covers the whole of Shropshire plus a few bits of other counties around the edge where the piece number is split between Shropshire and another county. All names are indexed by SURNAME and Forename. In addition, most of the northern half of the county also includes the age. For each name the index provides the Piece Number and Folio Number plus the page number for the northern half of the county.
When you find an entry of interest, then by clicking on the Folio Number, the software will display everyone on that Folio Number.
