Shropshire Burials Index on CD-ROM (as of 5 Dec 2008) The 4th Edition of the SBI has now been produced and is available for ordering. This new edition of the index adds over 130,000 records to the well-received Edition 3. In addition to 100% coverage of the County between 1813 and 1837, it now encompasses even more records from the start of registers to 1813. Non-conformist burials are also included. The software now gives more choices of print out but retains easy to use surname searching and more advanced searching for greater flexibility when required. The details for the Shropshire Burials Index include abode, relationships, occupations and other comments in addition to name, date buried and age, where given. The cost for the SBI remains unchanged for Edition 4 at £12 and members will still be given a 10% discount, £10.80. The good news is that anyone who bought version 3 can have the new Edition 4 for £6 if they return their CD-ROM. Inland postage is included.
