Shropshire Quarter Sessions Index 1830-1920 on CD-ROM The Shropshire FHS is pleased to announce that following ten years work by numerous members of the society, and some non-members, we now have an index of almost 400,000 records to the Shropshire County Quarter Sessions for the period 1830-1920. There are about 15,000 surnames and variants, taken from some 75,000 numbered documents or sets of documents. Each entry includes surname, forenames, occupation and place (if recorded) plus the reference number to identify and request the specific document at the Shropshire Records and Research Centre. |
