Whilst considering the future of the Shropshire Marriages Index the SFHS committee felt it would be helpful to publicise the availability of the above for anyone who missed the launch in April 2020.
It is the 5th and final edition of the Burials Index which covers over 630,000 burial records giving almost 100% full coverage of the 1813 and 1837 period and includes details from the original registers for some 218 parishes dating back, in some cases, to the 16th Century. Each record includes names, parish, date of burial and, where shown in the registers, occupation, names of parents and other details.
