I am trying to trace my husbands ancestors mainly William WORRALL born 1807 approx. Married Sarah CARTER (date unknown) living in Peacocks Passage during the 1830/40's, does anyone know who his father was? I do know they had several children of which only one survived
Thank you Mike, I do have Williams death certificate he died 25.12.1847 living at Peacocks Passage. Age 40 he was a carpenter, unfortunately died of consumption.

If you look at the Shropshire Marriages on Find my Past you will find the marriage of William WORRALL and Sarah CARTER at St Mary's Church, Shrewsbury on 1 Jan 1831 but unfortunately marriages at that date don't include the names of the fathers. The marriage was by Licence.
You may be able to access Find my Past at your local library or archives if you don't have a subscription.
Do you know whether William survived to the 1851 census so you can establish his place of birth / baptism?
