hi all
during my research i have found my ancestors living in canal buildings in 1841. i understand that there was a cholera outbreak in that building. martha who was an unmarried mother finds her daughter hannah born 1840 dying at the age of 7 yrs, then in 1851 we find martha in the st julians lunatic asylum as an inmate.
sussannah in 1849 married william partridge and moves to meadow terrace with her brother samuel and her mom.
are there any web sites that i can look at to see why martha ws admitted to the asylum.
