The 1871 Census record for my ancestors, William and Jane DAVIES, shows them living a couple of houses down the street from the Rectory and Schoolhouse in Smethcott. Does anyone know if either of those places are still standing?

Hello
Looking at the Ordnance Survey 6 inch to 1 mile map published 1883 and the similar map published in 1903 it appears that the church, the school and the Rectory were all on different roads which makes it extremely difficult to guess where your relatives house was located.
It appears that the old school building is probably now a private house - see Google Street View
From there, if you continue along the road in a south westerly direction you should find the property you are looking for.
