Shropshire poet in 1964 wrote "Maz PERRY died today" does anyone know any info?

My mums grandad was Walter Perry, knownn as Maz. When he died in 1964 a local poet wrote a poem about him called "Maz Perry died today". Does anyone know this poem or the poet. Any info will be much appreciated.
