Back in July 2013 I brought readers attention to the fact that the Shropshire BMD project had added 117,915 Shropshire Marriages to the site and those are still available.
Yesterday it was announced that 145,874 Births have now been added to the Shropshire BMD web site, the details of which shown below have been copied from the announcement.
The Births and Marriages can be seen on the Shropshire BMD web site. Note that these Birth indexes include the mother's maiden name and allow you to search using that.

Hi, I'm pleased to announce that the first set of birth indexes from the Shropshire area are now online via the Shropshire BMD website. This first set covers Atcham and Wem subdistricts. More will follow over the next few weeks as final processing completes.
