Hello,

I am hoping that someone may be able to help me with regard to the following.

I am writing to ask if it is possible to find out what the reported state of the Severn was on Saturday 7th February 1903 - particularly near to Greyfriars Bridge.

My interest in this stems from the report of the "Sad Drowning Fatality" of 7-year old Thomas Charles RAWLINSON in the Shrewsbury Chronicle of 13th February 1903.

Many thanks for any help.

Peter

Sorry,

I have just realised that I have mis-posted the year of the event as 1907 - when it should have been 1903.

Hello Peter

Try putting "historical weather data uk 1903" (without the quotes) into your favourite search engine and see what comes up.

Have you tried searching the Shrewsbury Chronicle for the 6th Feb 1903?
