I belong to a long line of ROWLANDSs. My great grandfather, Henry E. ROWLANDS, was the first to come to America. His father was William ROWLANDS, whose father was Simon ROWLANDS and that is where my trail ends. Their birth place is listed as Meole Brace, Shewesbury, Shropshire England. I might have that backwards.
Any help would be appreciated.

Looking at the Shropshire parish register baptisms for Meole Brace, Shrewsbury on the Find my Past web site (enter Shropshire in the search box) which cover the period from the start of the register up to 1900 I see that there are seven children baptised between 1825 and 1849 with a father named Simon ROWLANDS but none of the children are named William.
A similar search for children baptised where the father's name was William ROWLANDS failed to produce any results.
Taking this a bit further, searching the same web site I cannot find any baptism anywhere in Shropshire for a William ROWLANDS with a father named Simon nor can I find a baptism for Henry E ROWLANDS although there is one for Henry in 1817 at Berrington.
It would help if you told us the dates of baptism you have found and where you found the information. Also the date that Henry E ROWLANDS left England for America. Do you have him on a passenger list or immigration record when he arrived?
