I have a flickr group with lots of photos of and details about my father's ancestors on his father's side. There are a few brickwalls that I'd love to be able to knock down.

I tried to add the link into my account details but it doesn't accept the link in the webpage box.

The group is "The Murray family of Shropshire, Cheshire and Lancashire". Please have a look. Hopefully one day, someone will match up with me!

Hope you enjoy the photos. Thanks for looking.

I don't have access to ancestry any more. Can you please tell me the names of the tree owners please?

I can only find 2 trees on GR Stephen and Claire. Who is the third one please? The first 2, I have been in contact with already and given them information.

There is a Whitchurch Heritage Centre (in St Marys Street if I remember correctly) Telephone 01948 664577. They have been very helpful to me in the past and have some details of local industries eg. Foundry (possible blacksmiths) and clock making. I also think there is a Historical Society which may be useful. Hazel

Thanks Hazel. I'll send a copy of the photo and my info on him to the Heritage Centre, see if anything turns up. I'll look into finding details of the Historical Society.
