Im looking for any info on Mary Lewis and David Hammonds either or, they married 1801 in Wellington their children were
Richard 1810
Elizabeth 1812
Mary 1814
David 1817
John
Benjamin 1826
David and Benjamin move to Sheffield in 1850s, Mary and Mary senior died in Wellington and I haven't a clue what happen to the rest of them. Any help would be greatfully recieved "anything at all"
Also and this maybe a daft Question!
Can I search this forum for past post that have been discused or do I just have to go through them one by one

You do not have enough children listed. If they marrried in 1801, why would their first child be 9 years later? Also remember that the 1841 census is only accurate +/- 5 years.

I can;t find John after the 1851 census. There are a lot of John Hammonds deaths registered in Wellington.

I live in Sheffield and keep promising my self a trip down to Wellington to see what I could find. Ive been trying to find out what happened to the one's that stayed behind in Shropshire for the last 2 years, where they were buried/married and to whom. You have give me more information than I could of hope for.
I did wounder why they didnt have children till 1810 but you have solved that as well.
The names Solomon, Richard, Benjamin, David, Thomas John Henry, etc repeat time and time again on all the branches right up to the 1930s. I noted you said you think! this is Thomas, The children names are quite different, What do you think?
