I am trying to determine either the mother or father of a Joshua SMITH, born 1866 (most likely, possible 1867) in Woore. I have found him living with his grandparents John and Hannah SMITH on Mount Pleasant, Woore in the 1871 and 1881 England census, listed as grandson.
I have a possible birth date of January 1866 in Woore (Market Drayton??).
I am from the US and have used both Find My Past and Ancestry.com to search for his parents.
Does anyone have any information about Joshua's birth (mother or father) or know where else I can research?
