JONES Family name Syracuse NY USA

Hello all,

I am based in Rochester, NY, USA,

My great, great, grandmother, Emma Jones Gwynn, was born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England in 1832.  Her brother, Richard Jones, was born in 1835, also in Shrewsbury, as was their younger brother, Thomas.  Emma married a William Gwynn in England, they had 6 children, and emigrated to Syracuse NY in 1869.  She died in Syracuse in 1913 and is buried here.

Richard came to the USA in 1861, immediately joined the union army and fought in the Civil War for four years, rising to the rank of "2nd Lieutenant", then returned to England and married his sweetheart Prudence Davies, and they then emigrated to Syracuse NY.  Richard died in 1916 and is buried in Syracuse, NY.

Thomas remained in England and became a lawyer, based in London.

That's about all I have, and am looking for info on their parentage.
