There is a family tradition that the family of John Andrew Howard was connected to Feathers Inn in the late 1700s. According to census records, John was born about 1805 at Ludlow but had moved to Manchester by 1841 where he worked as a tailor. He lived out his life in the Mancester area and died in Chorlton in 1873. There was not a clear match for John in baptism records for Ludlow, though Thomas and Mary Howard in Bromfield had a son named John baptized in 1806. Any help is appreciated!
