Hello, i am trying to find the grave of my father, how do I do this? He died in Hemel Hempstead in 1971. ( dob 05 may 1936). I was told he was buried in Ludlow, but could be Bridgnorth where he was from. Any help would be great. Thank you Dawn.

Hi Dawn,

I’m almost certain that Leonard MORRIS was not buried in Bridgnorth town in 1971.

I can’t offer to look for an obituary because there aren’t any available copies of the local newspaper, the Bridgnorth Journal, from 1958 to 1971 inclusive.
However, if you provide a precise date of death, perhaps someone could check for a funeral or obituary in the Shropshire Star at Shropshire Archives?
