I have been researching my family tree since last year, it has been quite difficult in places but I've now hit a brick wall and need some help to find out missing pieces of information.
My GGGG Grandfather was Robert DAVIES born 1773 at The Rock, Saint Martin's, Shropshire.
He married a Sarah DAVIES, this was her maiden name! I have no date of birth for her and don't know if she is from the same area. Their marriage was in 1792 Saint Martin's.
At the moment I only know that they had a son Joseph DAVIES, he is my GGG Grandfather, born in 1796 Saint Martin's.
Robert (1773) did have 2 sisters, Ann born 1770 and Rebecca born 1775.
I would like to find their parents, which I think are Robert DAVIES and Mary, but I have no dates of birth for either or a maiden name for Mary.
Can anybody help? I use ancestry and there is also a place near Telford called The Rock but it is not that area, mine is Saint Martin's.
