| By Train The Shirehall is about 2 km from Shrewsbury Railway Station, a 30 min. walk. Taxis are available from the rank outside the Railway Station. By Bus The bus station is a 5 minute walk from the railway station. Cross at the pelican crossing into Smithfield Road, 250 metres down this road the bus station is on the left (just into Raven Meadows) Services from around the county terminate at Shrewsbury Bus Station. A connecting service No. 8 (destination Sutton Farm) leaves Shrewsbury Bus Station every 15 minutes. The bus stop is right outside the front of the Shirehall (by the Lord Hill Column). The journey takes 8 minutes. Traveline No. 0870 6082608 People With Disabilities The Shirehall has good access for those who have mobility difficulties. The main entrance has ramp wheelchair access. (See map B). There are toilets on the ground floor and on the first floor accessible for people with disabilities and lifts which access all floors.
