| About Us Shropshire Genealogy |
The Shropshire Family History Society was founded in 1979 to provide a meeting place in Shropshire for all those interested in Family History and Genealogy. The Society is a Registered Charity with around two thousand members around the world and is a member of the Federation Of Family History Societies. Membership is open to anyone interested in family history and non-members are welcome to visit one of our meetings to become familiar with our activities. Click here for more information. |

| War Memorials resource updated |
Following a long delay caused by me, I have now, thanks to a transcription from our members the Toomers, uploaded all the names from the Market Drayton Memorial and whilst about it I have also added the small numbers from Cockshutt, Weston Lullingfields, Edstaston and Shrewsbury Postal District memorials into the database. Click here for more information. |
| Postal Rate Increases |
Postal Rates within and from the UK have risen as from 6th April 2009, so we have had to increase our p&p prices accordingly and they are all shown in our latest online Publications Catalogue. Click here for more information. |
